Many people today (if you are an avid watcher of HGTV) desire their bedrooms to be somewhat of a resort! Newlyweds want to keep that honeymoon atmosphere (and who wouldn’t!). If you know their destination, giving a gift that will bring back memories of that special trip would rate high on their list. Whether their trip leads them to the Hawaiian Islands, Italy, or Europe, there are hundreds upon hundreds of gifts to bring back happy memories. Pictures of the ocean, pottery that has been handmade from Italy, or even romantic music on CD’s might be a reminder of dinner in a quaint little restaurant followed by horse drawn carriage ride through the park. Now that would be a sentimental and thoughtful gift. Candles are considered to be a romantic accent for the bedroom. Of course they come scented or not and come in a wide variety of styles. A candle coupled with a unique candleholder is a very popular gift. If you want that practical gift, for the bedroom or bath, a gift of bath towels sheets with monogrammed initials, ‘Mr. and Mrs.” or the words ‘bride and groom is always a safe standby especially when you don’t know the couple very well. Or how about a shower radio for those who need good music to clean up by? An air mattress might be nice for when the in laws come to visit! They are mobile and can be set up anywhere-garage, basement, outdoors etc.
